Painted in Silver Mink with black interior and a black vinyl Landau roof with correct Thunderbird hubcaps. Power comes from a 390 cubic inch V8 and mated to a 3-speed automatic. The odometer is showing only 53,372 miles and they're original! The car was purchased new in 1966 and then given to the gentleman's son in the early 80's. In 2014 the car underwent a healthy tune up that includes but is not limited to: new water pump, push rods & lifters, new filters and gaskets, fuel pump, belts & hoses, carburetor rebuild, pinion seal, u joints and radial tires. Needless to say, this car is ready for the open road! The 390 was a great engine for the Thunderbird. It produces 315 horsepower and 427 lbs/ft of torque. More than enough to get this bird moving. 1966 was the last year for the fourth generation Thunderbird. The next generation would be a major redesign and featured four doors for the first time. Some will say that the '66 would be that last of the traditional Thunderbird making it much more sought after than the next generations.
