1970 Pontiac GTO

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a gorgeous 1970 Pontiac GTO. The odometer reads 2,104, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1970 Pontiac GTO include: AM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Rally Wheels, and Raised White Letter Radial Tires. This 70' GTO is powered by a period correct GM Crate 455 CID V8 engine, with a 4 barrel carburetor, which produces approximately 380 horsepower, and has approximately 500 miles. A 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter transfers those horses to the 12 bolt rear end. This GTO is finished in the original shade Atoll Blue Poly exterior paint, and looks fantastic. A rear spoiler and Judge stripes are on this GTO and provide a unique look. "The Judge" decals are included and in the glove box if someone was so inclined to apply them and complete the Judge look. The blue vinyl interior provides an excellent color combination with the exterior paint, and is free from any rips, tears, or major wear. The 1970 Pontiac GTO saw several design changes, the most significant of those being the front fascia. The hidden headlight option was gone in 1970, the four round headlights remain, however each light received its own bezel and are wrapped in the Endura bumper. The Center nose still featured the vertical protrusion, but it is now flanked by slightly wider but taller, blacked out grille openings. The suspension of the 70' GTO was also upgraded, including a rear anti-roll bar and a slightly stiffer front anti-roll bar, to reduce body lean and understeer. In 1970, GM lifted its 400 CID max for its engine displacement, and Pontiac then introduced the 455 CID V8 in its GTO. The 455 produced very similar horsepower to the 400's, but produced far more torque.
