Vinyl InteriorFor sale in our St. Louis showroom is a gorgeous 1970 Dodge Challenger Convertible. The odometer reads 96,933, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1970 Dodge Challenger Convertible include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Automatic Convertible Top, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Originally outfitted with a 318 CID V8, this 70' Challenger is now equipped with a much more sought after, date code correct, rebuilt 440 CID V8 with an Edelbrock carburetor. A rebuilt 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission transfers the power to the 8 3/4 Sure Grip rear end that houses 3.23 gears. A power disc brake conversion has been added as well as a power convertible top for ease and convenience. This 1970 Dodge Challenger was born with an unusual color combination, Lemon Twist Yellow, white convertible top, and red vinyl interior. That color combination is gone, in its place is the always popular, triple black with red RT stripes. The black vinyl interior is in very good condition, and matches well with the rally gauge cluster and wood grain trim throughout. A full restoration took place a little over 10 years ago, but the beautiful black paint was applied just over a year ago, and it looks fantastic. A plethora of parts have been replaced or replated, everything from the bumpers, gas cap, and mirrors to the antenna, door handles, and door seals. New, 18" Foose Legend wheels, with new tires as well, provide and excellent look and stance to this classic Mopar muscle car.
