This Impala is mostly original and unrestored aside from some mechanical maintenance and new paint. The original single stage paint was showing its age, so the vehicle was repainted in its original color using base coat clear coat paint. It now has a nice shine but still looks correct. The vinyl top and black vinyl interior is believed to be original. Under the hood is the original 350 CID V8 which has been tuned up and runs nicely. This car is nicely optioned with power steering, power brakes, and factory AC. It has an automatic transmission which leads to a 12 bolt rear end with Posi-traction. The Impala cruises nicely and feels tight like a low mileage car should. There's something to be said about a low mileage well cared for car that looks and drives as nicely as this one. It's also neat to think you could be the 3rd owner of a car that's been on the road for over 47 years.
