For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS. The year was 1969 and "Come Together" by The Beatles was streaming the radio waves while this Camaro was first hitting the streets. The 1969 model was Chevrolet's second year in production for the Camaro. This year came with newly designed fenders, doors and quarter panels. The standard grill was restyled with sharper angles and this year was the first year for variable ratio steering. No longer 100% stock, this American Muscle car offers a 396 CID V8 big block backed by a Borg Warner close ratio 4-spd manual transmission with Hurst shifter. Equipped with 2.5"ceramic coated Hooker headers, this Camaro is sure to turn heads. Please make certain to listen to the video of this vehicle on our website! Backing the 4-spd transmission is a 12 bolt rear-end with 4.10 posi traction gears. The car was restored in 2003 with no expense spared. Looking under the hood you will see so. You'll notice a 750 CFM Demon carburetor, an aluminum radiator, aluminum water pump, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and 7 quart Moroso oil pan. The 396 engine offers forged pistons, Comp camshaft, and polished air cleaner and valve covers. The exhaust following the Hooker headers consists of 2.5" dual pipe with an H-pipe and Flowmasters. Looking inside the car you will see extremely clean black looped carpet, black vinyl bucket seats, center console, and behind the rear seats a Sony Xplode amplifier. Options include: CD player, AM/FM radio, power steering, traction control, seat belts, vinyl interior, BF Goodrich radial tires, aluminum/alloy Center Line wheels. Helping this car stop is front disc brakes. If you are looking for a nicely restored Camaro with plenty of horsepower, but do not want to take on the struggle of a costly restoration, consider this bright yellow Chevrolet.
