The odometer reads 98,527, the actual mileage is unknown, but there has been approximately 12,000 miles put on the completed restoration. Powering this beautiful blue Ford street rod is a new 350 CID GM Crate V8 engine with an Edelbrock carburetor and a chrome air cleaner. Headers help provide a powerful sound to this classic beauty as well. A new aluminum radiator has been employed to keep this GM V8 cool on hot summer days. A GM TH350 automatic transmission transfers the power to the Ford 9", Posi-Trac rear end with 3.00 gears, and Strange axles. Steering and handling has been greatly improved via a Mustang II front end installation. The blue exterior paint currently on the car is very similar to the original color, Ford Washington Blue. The custom pinstripes that wrap around the car paired with the red steel wheels with chrome beauty rings provide a unique and tasteful appearance for this 35' Ford. The light brown vinyl interior is clean and simple, free from any rips, tears, or major wear. All windows are Safety glass, and functions as they should, even the small windows in the back open allowing for a nice breeze to enter the cab. Leaping off the front of this street rod is a chrome greyhound ornament, which were very popular back in the mid 30's, and often referred to as mascots.
