The original 430 CID V8 engine provides the muscle for this big cat, and the original TH-400 automatic transmission transfers the power to the pavement. This 68' Wildcat was sprayed a beautiful dark red with a small amount of metallic flake not long ago, and it looks amazing in the sunlight. The black vinyl automatic top looks great when up, but this Wildcat looks best with the top down and the wind is flowing. The red vinyl interior appears to be original, it does show some age, but is in overall good condition. The aluminum/alloy wheels that adorn all four corners are finished in black with a polished lip, and are wrapped in radial tires. The Wildcat was produced by Buick from 1962 to 1970. In 1962 it was a sub series of the Buick Invicta, and in 1963 it earned its own model. The Wildcat is best known as a long bodied coupe or convertible, however over its production span it was also available in a 4 door sedan and a 4 door hardtop.
