Vinyl InteriorGateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a super cool 1976 Pontiac Trans Am. There may not be a more recognizable muscle car from the 1970s. With a Phoenix on the hood and a thumping 455 under the hood, this is not a subtle vehicle. This particular '76 has been lovingly restored and brought back to its former glory. The body has been restored and finished in a coat of beautiful Firethorn Red. It sits on the proper snowflake wheels that are synonymous with these cars. Inside is matching Firethorn Red interior with bucket seats and a center console housing the 4 speed shifter. This car is very well optioned with AC, power steering, power brakes, and even power windows. Under the hood is a 455 CID V8 which has been rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago. Backing that of course is the 4 speed which runs to a Posi rear end with 3.23 gears. This TA is set up the way every muscle car fan would want: big block and a 4 speed with bucket seats and a center console. There are fewer and fewer examples of these cars to be found. This one has been restored right and is ready to be enjoyed. With only 5,000 miles on the restoration, the kinks have been worked out and the car has proven itself. Hop in and enjoy this one!
