Options for this 1954 Ford Mainline 2 Door Sedan include: AM Radio, Cloth and Vinyl Interior, Hub Caps, and Wide White Wall Radial Tires. This 54' Ford is powered by a V8 engine and a "3 on the tree" 3 speed manual transmission. The light green exterior paint is accented very nicely by the dark green interior. The exterior paint has received a respray, but it is not known exactly when that took place. The interior appears to be original, and is in very good condition considering the age of the car. The Mainline was the base model below the Customline and Crestline, and was produce by Ford from 1952 to 1956. The Ford Mainline was available with either an inline six cylinder and V8 engines. The body styles offered were 2 door sedan, 2 door coupe, 2 door station wagon, and 4 door sedan. The Mainline was replaced as the base model by the Ford Custom in 1957.
