This one of a kind Galaxie has the best of both worlds: classic 1960s Ford styling on the exterior, and a modern drive train and braking components underneath. This '62 coupe is finished in a beautiful coat of Vista Blue on the exterior with beautiful stainless and chrome trim. She sits on modern 5 spoke wheels finished in graphite gray which are wrapped in modern radial tires. Peek through the spokes and you'll find these 17s are there to make room for 13" front and 11" rear Baer disc brakes. This serious braking system gives a hint as to what you'll find under the hood: a 5.4 Liter Fuel Injected Ford V8. Backing the 5.4 is a 4R70W 4 speed automatic transmission which runs to a 8.8 Mustang rear end with 3.55 final drive ratio. It's neat to see an all Ford drive train in this hot rod! This one is set up with power steering, power brakes, and Air Conditioning to keep you safe and comfortable on the long hauls. With the reliable drive train, this car is just begging to be taken on a cross country tour. What a perfect car for the Hot Rod Power Tour. The interior is finished just as nicely as the exterior with vinyl seating, a custom console, and a tall Lokar shifter.
