Up front you'll find a 2.5 Liter Inline 4 cylinder which mates up to a 5 speed manual transaxle gearbox located all the way at the rear of the vehicle. The result is a perfect 50/50 weight distribution between the front and rear. This makes it a predictable car to drive enthusiastically. There are even racing divisions specifically for 944s since they make such good race cars. This particular example is a road going 944 with all the interior luxuries like cold AC, leather seats, and a stereo. The exterior is bright red which is the factory finish. She sits on classic Porsche "Cookie Cutter" wheels which are quintessential Porsche. Unique to the 944 (and the 924 that proceeded) are the ultra cool flip up headlights. Flip up headlights and the molded rear "wale tail" spoiler really make for a memorably sporty appearance. The interior features leather bucket seats in the front and even seating for 2 in the back. The rear seats can be folded flat for a massive rear hatch area which makes these cars more practical that some might assume.
