They're only original once; this particular 1970 Ranchero is a great example of a low mileage, unrestored vehicle which has been lovingly cared for since new. This Ranchero wears most of its factory yellow paint. Perhaps the most amazing portion is the bed which hardly has a scratch or dent! The car belonged to a farmer whom only used it as his "going to town" vehicle. Stored indoors, it has remained rust free and incredibly clean. The interior hardly shows any wear with saddle colored upholstery across a comfortable bench seat. The dash and carpet even look like new. Pop the hood and you'll find the original 302 CID V8 well optioned with power steering and power brakes. Behind the 302 is the original automatic transmission which shifts beautifully. With only 30,006 original miles on the odometer, this baby is just getting broken in. That's right, that's less than 700 miles per year since new. The car has recently received some maintenance items to be sure it is 100% road ready including new tires, shocks, new carburetor, fuel pump, water pump, and hoses. The bumpers have been rechromed as well to match the nice paint. There are not many survivors from 1970 left, so this one is a special car to say the least.
