Vinyl InteriorFor sale in our St. Louis showroom is a beautifully restored 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. This Beetle was block sanded, primed, sprayed with 8 coats of Ruby Red Sikkens polyurethane paint, then color sanded, and finally fully machine polished, that all produced a show quality mirror gloss finish. The black vinyl interior is very good condition, free from any rips or tears. The entire drive train has been rebuilt, including the 1600cc engine with all new internals, carburetor, fuel pump, Bosch coil, rotor, cap, points, plugs, wires, EMPI finned aluminum valve covers and harmonic balancer. The 4 speed manual transmission was also rebuilt including a new clutch assembly. The EMPI blacked out rims provide a nice custom look to this VW, and are mounted to new radial tires. While the EMPI 2.5" dropped spindles create the unique stance, and new upper and lower ball joints and tie rods ends provide a nice smooth ride. The odometer reads 9,944, the actual mileage is unknown, but there are only 400 miles on the car since the restoration was finished.
