This 1984 Thunderbird Turbo is powered by the original 2.3L Turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that has been rebuilt and has 658 miles on it since being rebuilt. The new T3/T4 hybrid turbo has been installed to provide the best performance available. A 5-speed manual transmission, yes a manual transmission, transfers the muscle to the Ford 8.8 rear end that houses Ford Motor Sport 4.10 gears. Other new parts include a fuel tank, fuel pump, radiator, power steering pump, wiper motor, 180 amp alternator, and starter. Three inch exhaust with HiFlow cat and Dynomax mufflers provide an aggressive sound to this hot rod 4 cylinder. A suspension rebuild was performed including rack and pinion, struts, strut bearings, tie rod ends, springs, and shocks.
The gray interior was redone and looks incredible, it shows minimal signs of wear and tear. The car was professionally sprayed in Daytona Blue, which is a 2003 Nissan color, and utilized PPG base coat/clear coat application. The odometer reads 30,509, but the actual mileage is 130,509.
