Vinyl InteriorFor sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop. This 56’ Bel Air is finished in the beautiful Sierra Gold over Adobe Beige color combination. The paint was resprayed about 10 years ago and shows very well. The interior is finished in the same color scheme, which obviously matches the exterior perfectly. The interior is in excellent condition, it is free from any rips, tears, or any signs of major wear. Powering this iconic Bel Air hardtop is a 350 CID V8 engine from a 1971 Chevrolet that has been bored 0.30 over and has 882 heads. An Edelbrock aluminum intake and carburetor, alloy valve covers and air cleaner, and chrome alternator dress up the engine bay as well. Headers flow to the full exhaust and provide a nice growl to the small block Chevrolet V8 engine. A TH-350 automatic transmission transfers the power to the stock rear end that houses 3.55 gears. This 56’ Bel Air has been featured in countless local shows, and has also been at the Tri-Five Nationals in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The odometer reads 17,236, the actual mileage is unknown, and there are less than 1,000 on the rebuilt engine.
