1959 Chevrolet Bel Air

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a stunning 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air. The 59’ Chevrolet stands out amongst all others due to it’s unique rear end. I personally think it is a work of art, rear quarters blended into tail fins that lay flat instead of arching towards the sky. This creates for a relatively flat tail section, until the center portion runs downward to the bumper. Both the 58’ and 60’ model years have a variation of this style, but they appear to be a more bit tame than the 59’ model. This particular 59’ Bel Air is finished in beautiful black exterior paint, that has been sanded and polished to a mirror finish. All of the brightwork has been polished to a high shine or replaced with new and correct parts, creating a great overall exterior appearance. The Coker wide white wall radial tires, chrome wheels, and chrome dog dish wheel covers provide the perfect complement to this 59’ Bel Air build. Powering this beautiful Bel Air is a 350 CID V8 with an Edelbrock intake and 4BBL carburetor. A TH-350 automatic transmission transfers the power to the pavement flawlessly. Sway bars have been installed in the front and rear to improve handling on this old Chevy, power 4 wheel disc brakes have also been added so stopping this big girl isn’t so much of a chore. Currently this Bel Air has new shocks and springs installed, but an Air Ride system is in a box, and comes with the car, as well as the fender skirts. The odometer reads 191, which represents the mileage put on the car since the restoration was complete.
