For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a lovely 1926 Ford Model T four door sedan. Ford's biggest contribution to the automotive industry was the assembly line. This manufacturing system originally built Model Ts like this one and now is used industry wide to produce today's automobiles. The first Model T rolled off the line on October 1, 1908, and the last drove away in 1927. In that 19 year span just over 15 million Model Ts were produced. A record that would hold until 1972, when it was surpassed by the Volkswagen Beetle. This great little T is sporting its original Flathead inline 4 cylinder engine and stock running gear. The car has been completely restored including a beautiful coat of gray and black two-tone paint approximately 10 years ago. The chrome shines and the look is completed with a cheery set of yellow wire wheels. The interior has been recovered and the underside painted as well. Options for this 1926 Ford Model T include: Cloth Interior, Bias Ply Tires, and Wire Wheels. In the last couple years this Model T has received new tires, exhaust system, engine pulleys and belts, and battery ignition conversion kit. This is a car that is ready to drive, show, and enjoy. It would be a perfect to star in a local parade as well.
