For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a like new 1979 Chrysler Cordoba 300 Series. This is not your Grandpa’s 300. This little bad boy has been made into the ultimate sleeper, a big old 70’s Chrysler. The secret it holds is under the hood. The original 360 has been bored and stroked to a 408 CID with 10.2 compression. The rebuilt V8 engine features an Eagle steel crankshaft, roller lifter kit, ARP head bolts, Comp Cams hydraulic roller camshaft, Comp timing set, Milodon billet main caps, Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads and intake, and a Holley 750 CFM carburetor. Ceramic coated headers flow to the dual exhaust with an H-Pipe, that also feature QTP electric cut-outs. That’s right, hit a button on the key fob and the whole block with rattle at the total awesomeness of straight pipes. The 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission features a performance rebuild, shift kit, and 2800 stall converter. A 9 ¼ Sure-Grip rear end features the stock gears, which are believed to be 3.21. The beautiful thing about the 300, it is all original. The original paint and interior look absolutely fantastic, especially considering their age. The Canyon Red leather shows very little wear, no aging cracks, or stains in the carpet. The Spinnaker White exterior paint and pinstripes show very well for being almost 40 years old. The odometer reads 25,628 in kilometers, 15,924 in miles, which is believed to be the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 1979 Chrysler Cordoba 300 Series include: Air Conditioning (inoperable), AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Sunroof, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Factory Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This is a Chrysler you can drive to any show or cruise, roll up in stealth mode, hit the cut-out switch, and watch all the smiles come your way.
