Perhaps the most well known is based on the 3 series: the M3. M3's have set the standard for performance sedans since the late 1980s. The e46 generation has become one of the most popular generations because of its silky smooth 3.2 Liter Inline 6. From the factory the 6 banger was good for 333 Horsepower. In factory trim, they're great fun to drive and extremely comfortable as well. This particular e46 has been upgraded for performance with an Active AutoWerke supercharger kit. This kit includes a Rotrex supercharger, a front mount intercooler and fuel system upgrades. With these upgrades, the estimated horsepower is around 500. Needless to say, this is a healthy bump from stock which means it's just that much more fun to drive. This M3 has the optional SMG2 transmission which is a manual transmission which has multiple manual and automatic modes. This transmission is great for the driving enthusiast who likes the feel of shifting a race car. That said, there are automatic modes that make it just as easy to drive as any old automatic. In addition to having some awesome performance, the M3 is also a handsome vehicle to behold. The sharp looking body is covered in a rare factory color: Laguna Seca Blue. Inside the upholstery is in Dove Gray which is in nice shape. Overall this is a very nice high performance vehicle which could easily be driven daily. Whether you're a Bimmer nut, or you just want a sharp fast car to drive to work, this M3 would be a great fit.
