The two-tone Dupont paint was applied about 4 years ago. A button down soft tonneau bed cover provides protection and a nice accent to the color combination. The stepside bed is from a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado, which is a very common add to earlier C10 trucks. The grey interior features vinyl upholstery with cloth inserts and orange piping. New tires, brake lines, tinted windows, chrome inner fenders, and speakers mounted in the kick panels are a few items that have been replaced or added during the build.
Powering this 68’ Stepside pickup is a 350 CID V8 with a mild cam, aluminum intake and valve covers, and an Edelbrock carburetor. The exhaust manifolds have been powder coated for a clean look to match the rest of the engine bay. An aluminum radiator has been added to provide the optimal running temperature. A 3-speed automatic transmission transfers the power to the 12-bolt rear end. The odometer reads 26,286, the actual mileage is unknown, but there are approximately 2,000 miles on the truck since the build was completed.
