For sale in our Saint Louis Showroom is this 1972 SS Clone Chevrolet Chevelle. The restoration work includes replaced Quarter Panels, Front Fenders, Outside Door Handles, Dash Padding, Vintage A/C and Heat added, A/C Vents, new Carburetor, new Flowmaster Exhaust with Chrome Tips, Alternator, Guages, Tackometer, 10 Bolt Posi-traction, Stock SS Wheels, and Spare Tire Covers. Altogether, there has been a great investment in time and detail to make this classic girl a thing of beauty.
In 1964 the Chevelle was originally Chevrolet's response to the demand for the smaller-sized car market, which had been successfully tapped into by American Motor's Rambler. Riding on a 115-inch wheelbase, the Chevelle was based on a new A platform design, and became American's second best-selling car of its time. The 1972 Chevelles featured single-unit parking/side marker lights on their front fenders, outside of a revised twin-bar grille.
Powered by a smooth running 454 CID and TH 350, this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is a great classic to invest in as something to show off, as well as to use as your frequent driver. If someone pulls up next to your and revs up their engine to taunt you into a drag race, just lock in your seat-belt, put out your cigarette, rev your 454 back at them, and take your time driving home, because speed thrills, but kills.
