The '71 Elcamino belongs to the Third Generation of this line of Chevrolet's. Introduced in 1968 the longer body El Camino was based upon the Chevelle station wagon/four-door sedan wheelbase, and iit also shared the Chevelle/Malibu exterior and interior trims. The cosmetic modifications for the 1971 edition included a fresh front-end styling that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights.
The current modifications of this Elcamino include: 355 V8 w/Ramjet Cam, TPIS Tune Port Fuel Injection, 4L60E Transmission w/TCI Programmer, Dakota Digital Dash, Vintage A/C and Heat, 373 Posi Rear End, Powered Front Disc and Rear Drum Brakes, Painted Lagoona Blue in 2015, and Spray-in Bed liner.
The exterior and interior of this Elcamino shows very well. The body does not have any scratches or dents and the paint quality looks to be between and 8.5 and 9 on a 10-point scale. The interior is also in great condition and lacking any tears, stains, or odors. There leather seats in the interior do not look worn from wear and the dash does not show any fading from the sun or unsightly damage.
