Vinyl InteriorFor sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport convertible. This is a one owner with an original 110,535 miles. Bought new at Gary F. Vincel Pontiac, Inc. on July 6th of 1972. It has received one repaint since then, otherwise, just well maintained and enjoyed. The original paint color by Pontiac is Anaconda and features a white accent stripe down the side and rides on a set of 14 inch Pontiac Rally wheels with modern radial rubber. Equipment consist of a Power top, Convertible boot cover, Power brakes, Power steering, A/C and an AM radio. The original manuals and Pontiac Protect O Plate all come with the sale and are in phenomenal condition. The paint shows very well and has a great shine to it. The White vinyl interior is original and is in decent shape considering it is all original. The 350 V8 runs well and sends power through a 3 speed automatic transmission. The white soft top appears to be original and does show its age a bit and will need a little assistance when operating but itll get the job done. This is a great example of an original car that has been well cared for over the years that could be enjoyed as is or make for a straight forward restoration if one chooses.
