First of all the engine has been freshened and has hardened valve seats for todays modern gasoline. The FMX automatic transmission has been rebuilt as well! The seller has photos documenting the rust repairs performed and this car will not disappoint. This 1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 is pretty well-equipped with power front disc brakes, power steering, and AC (not working). Only 76 of these Mercurys came equipped with these pain and trim codes, and this is a well-sorted driver that will not disappoint. We don't suspect we will have this car long so do not hesitate. The 351 cleveland 4 barrel is said to be numbers matching and sounds fantastic!
