While the body and interior of this car are mostly original, it has been mechanically overhauled using factory parts with the exception of a few performance modifications. The seller has added an Edelbrock 650 carburetor, an Earson camshaft, and a Holley street dominator intake manifold to the 390ci FE V8. The engine is mated to a 3 speed manual transmission or “3 on the tree” as they say. This example came from the factory painted in Medium Sage Gold Metallic and is said to retain its original rust-free body panels, although the hood was stripped and resprayed in black.
