Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V!
The Lincoln Continental is legendary for more reasons than one. Comfort, luxury, style, and much much more. Recently the generally beloved and occasionally disdained Jeremy Clarkson drove a Mark V Lincoln on the latest episode of The Grand Tour: Lochdown. If you have ever questioned the integrity of Ford motor company engineering....take a gander at the episode and watch Clarkson put the Mark V platform through its paces!
This Mark V is wearing a fantastically tasteful color combination with a luxe cream over cream scheme. The interior is lavish with a Cartier clock dominates half of the instrument cluster with a matching speedometer. The dash color is a fantastic burlwood design with some complementary brightwork. This car feels like it wears a tuxedo. The odometer reads just over 6,000 miles which we suspect to be 106,000 miles. Despite the mileage the undercarriage is in VERY good shape. We have seen lower mileage vehicles not present this well.
The powerplant is a massive 460 V8. The 3-speed automatic transmission is geared for luxury as well. These cars are built for comfort! The seats welcome you and offer comfort that modern cars wish they could rival! The steering is obedient to even the smallest inputs!
These are some of the best smiles per mile car! They are luxurious, serviceable, and STYLISH! These cars make friends just about everywhere they go! We are happy to have this luxury mobile and it awaits the next owner!
This 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V is offered by the St. Louis sales staff and can be seen in full detail on our website. Our listing all include 100+ HD photos and a detailed video! GatewayClassicCars.com
