This 1979 Starlite Black Bandit Trans Am has the original number matching motor and transmission. This Car was made famous from the movie “Smokey and the Bandit†in which Burt Reynolds drove a similar car. The exterior is in perfect driver quality condition for you to go have fun in. The paint and body were completely restored about 5 years ago with receipts. The two-tone cloth interior is great condition as well. Powering this stunning T/A is a 403 V8 pushing 186HP. The Oldsmobile 403 was standard in the Trans Am and the last of the Pontiac 400s were installed in only 8,326 cars. The 4-speed Automatic transmission makes shifting gears smooth and seamless.
