The Porsche 914 or VW-Porsche 914 was a mid-engined, Targa-topped two-seater roadster designed sports car manufactured and marketed collaboratively by Volkswagen and Porsche from 1969 to 1976. Power goes to the rear wheels via the mid-mounted 2.0 engine, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission which gives the near 2100lb car plenty of power. The low curb weight and mid-engine layout is the perfect layout for a nimble and playful sports car. This Porsche features air conditioning, which was a dealer installed option to help keep the cabin cool on those hot summer days.
