The Ford Crestline was only made in 1952,1953, and 1954 which makes this car rare, especially in this condition. Crestlines were offered only with a 239 CID "flathead" V8 engine. This ’53 is a breeze to cruise in with its 3 speed automatic transmission. The Crestline was updated with minor styling in and trim changes for 1953. It retained its position as the top trim level in the Ford range while body styles and engine availability also remained unchanged from the 1952 models. The current owner of this Sunliner has owned it for over 20 years and is claimed to be only its 3rd owner. It has been meticulously maintained and has had the brakes, gas tank, tires and even has the receipts of the work that’s been completed on this rare car. When walking around this beauty you instantly notice all the style chrome trim on the shiny red paint. Unique to the Crestline is its big bumpers, stylish headlights, and hood emblem. Hopping inside of this convertible you feel the soft leather two tone interior that offsets the red and black styling. The soft top is power and comes with the matching black boot cover. When you drop the top on this convertible Ford cruiser in the fall weather you can keep comfortable by turning on the factory heat system. This car does have the 6 volt electrical system that is date correct for this car.
