For 1963, the LeMans name was still used only on two-door coupes and convertibles, but now was designated as a separate model in the Pontiac compact car lineup. This would last for just one year. Optional was a high-performance "326 CID V8" engine (actually displacing 336 cu in (5.5 L) during the 1963 model year). This car was known for many things that set it apart from the rest. One notable engineering feature would be the trans axel that also positions a lot of weight towards the rear and give better traction to the rear wheel drive. The current owner has enjoyed this car for the last 20 years and is finally going to allow it to pass on to its next home. This car literally sparkles in the sun with thick flake in the dark red paint that offsets the white convertible top nicely. Besides the flake In the paint, this car also has chrome accents behind the front wheels, chrome bumpers, and chrome Cragar wheels wrapped in raised letter radial tires. Hopping into the car you instantly notice its black vinyl sport bucket seats, black metal dash, black door panels, and black boot cover. The interior is in great shape and adds to the driving experience of this V8. Another unique notable feature of this early 60's muscle car is the gear selector that is a small lever to the right of the steering wheel.
