Powering this beautiful yellow machine is the numbers matching 351 Cleveland V8 engine mated to an upgraded 4 speed manual with overdrive. Pushing the power to the rear wheels is a Ford 9" rear end with a 3:00 gear ratio. When looking under the hood you instantly notice the organized and clean engine bay. Upgrades include Micky Thompson valve covers, MSD Distributor Cap, power brakes, power steering, factory A/C system that has been retrofitted to R134a, and even the hood scoop is functioning to allow airflow. The current owner has owned this car since 2003 and they claim the car to be a frame off restoration with new suspension and fuel tank. During the restore, the front fenders, doors, and trunk lid were all replaced before being painted in Dupont high quality yellow paint.These cars all normally rode nose high and to correct this and improve suspension design, the Shelby Mustang front end mod was installed, which lowers the chassis approx. 1 " and adds needed camber gain to the front end was completed. Also the stance is obtained 17" x 9" cobra wheels with offset 2.45/2.80 tire combination along with the 13" cobra brake upgrade.Some notable features include the electronic ignition conversion, 4-wheel disc brakes, and dual exhaust. When jumping inside this turbo coupe, you truly get the muscle car feel. It has black leather bucket seats, a Hurst shifter, seat belts, AM/FM radio, and even the GT logo on the steering wheel.
