While this car may have brought great pride and sales success to Triumph with a total of 91000 built, less than 9000 of these little cars stayed home in the UK. This car was an export explosion for the Triumph! With most of the cars going to Europe and the US. This 74 TR6 sports its original, US spec, 2.5 liter straight 6 with the split manifold supporting dual carbs. Power is sent through the original 4 speed manual gear box with overdrive and is distributed to the rear wheels via a 3.7:1 gear ratio, providing for snappy acceleration. Combined with the front disk brakes, and fully independent front and rear suspension the car remained true to the British philosophy of great handling small cars. The stock 15" wheels do a great job of covering up the disc brakes up front. The convertible soft top tucks away nicely under the soft cover which hides the canvas top nicely when not in use. This beauty has a great color combo of maroon over very nice tan, leather, bucket seats.
This Triumph TR6 comes equipped with AM/FM/CD, Manual Convertible Top, Leather Interior, Radial Tires with Rally Wheels, Seat belts, and a Numbers Matching Engine and transmission.
