For sale in our Tampa showroom is a restored 1970 Volkswagen Beetle convertible. It was built by a VW enthusiast, who fell in love with Volkswagens in the late 50s when he was stationed in Germany, during his service in the Army. This Diamond Blue VW Beetle convertible for sale is one of the nicest you're going to find! This 70' type 1 convertible has had a pan-off restoration and it shows! The Type 1 1776CC engine has been built, spared at no expense, with: 69mm forged crank, reconditioned and balanced rods, 90.5 Mahle forged pistons and cylinders, 110 Eagle camshaft with aluminum gear, Scat Lube-A-Lobe lifters, CB Performance 044 heads with 40x 35.5 mm valves, mild porting and matched port manifolds, Bug Pack 1.1:1 rocker arms on solid shafts, Scat swivel-foot adjusters, chromoly pushrods, Bosch 009 distributor with Pertronix ignition, dual Weber 44IDF carburetors, 1.5" ceramic coated header, KEP stage 2 pressure plate with cush-lock disc, Rimco align-bore and decked case, full-flow oil system with external oil filter, and powder coated tin. It's backed by a Jim-Lofton built transaxle. The performance is silky smooth and ready for all drivers. The exterior is painted in a stunning shade of Diamond Blue, with a black top. It's the epitome of a classic VW Bug. The polished Porsche wheels are gorgeous, and hide the front disc brakes very well. The drop spindles give the 70' VW Beetle convertible for sale a nice rake and stance. The interior is a throwback and simple, with black vinyl seats and door panels, with gray carpeting. To just look at this vehicle, doesn't do it justice. The quality of this build is what really sets it apart. This Volkswagen for sale was meticulously taken care after, which really shows in its presentation. All it needs is a new owner, who's willing to enjoy it to the fullest!
