Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is the true pinnacle of the muscle car era, the 1972 Plymouth Hemicuda. This beast has gone through an extensive restoration, full Nut and Bolt. The powerplant that turns heads on this car is a Mopar Crate 528 CID Hemi V8, packing a dyno-proven 516 Horsepower to the wheels. As soon as you turn the key on and crank this engine over, you can feel the raw power flow through the custom built Boom Tube exhaust. The engine on this car was actually built by Rick Cassel, who was the crew chief for Jack Beckman on the Valvoline Funny Car team. During this restoration, every detail was paid attention to, including all the sheet metal direct from Mopar. Every bolt on this car was upgraded with top of the line hardware. Sitting behind this massive engine is an 833 Mopar 4 speed manual, which was custom designed by Passion Performance to handle the motor. To control this car, you have a Pistol Grip shifter, designed to give you ultimate handling of the transmission. Also equipped with a custom aluminum driveshaft, which transfers the power to a custom built Dana 60 rear end packed with a 3.53:1 gear ratio. To stop this thing at a red light or the track, it comes built with a Wilwood 4 wheel disk, Cross drilled and slotted, with ceramic pads. The front brakes are 6 piston, with 4 pistons rear calipers. These brakes are a serious setup designed to stop this car at any speed. Exterior-wise, this restoration was meticulous, The front grill is original to the car, restored to its original shine straight from 1972. The body’s sheet metal has all been replaced with Mopar factory grade metal, and all painted in a gorgeous Viper Blue, to really show to curves and sex appeal of this car. This show quality paint really reflects the sunlight with a true show quality appeal. Inside this car, with the original seat frames, the seats show off this luscious Pearl White shine in the daylight to just add so much more to the show car appeal. The interior is done in both a wood grain and an accented blue dash pad to blend the exterior and interior color scheme. With a Hurst 4 speed manual Pistol Grip handle also done in Wood grain to really make the interior pop. Back to the exterior, the wheels are done in Foose rims, wrapped in Nitto NT555 for the kind of grip you need for the show, or the strip, but all around to look good at the show as well.
