This first generation was made from 1938-1941. 1941 was the last year of Harley Earl and Bill Mitchell's original Sixty Special design, as an all-new 1942 model was in the works. Many consider the 1941 to the most beautiful of this series! The current owner has provided pictures during the body off rebirth of this beautiful machine to show the level of the build. Claimed to be powered by the factory 346 cu in (5.67 L) Cadillac engine that was rated at 150 hp and mated to a 3-speed selective synchromesh manual transmission, this car should be considered a collectors item. Painted in a deep blue paint with gray interior, this car is in our opinion, stunning! The curb appeal is dressed in a chrome grille, chrome bumpers, chrome trim, fender skirts, white wall tires with chrome hub caps, and yellow lensed fog lamps. The interior flows well with the blue paint and features gray cloth, chrome trim, woodgrain dash, and even an oversized clock! If you are looking for something with style and history, this is it!
