1980 Shay Model A

Up for sale in our Tampa Showroom is the classic ride, known as the 1929 Shay Model A Roadster. This classy car is asking for a driver to take it out with a set of driving goggles and enjoy a good ride down the highway. Upgraded from the standard engines these came with, this particular one comes with a mildly built 302 cubic inch Ford small block. This powerhouse was built by Jasper, so quality on the engine build is definitely there. Transferring the power to the wheels is a Ford C4 transmission, give you 3 automatic forward gears to rip down the streets in. Of course the Jasper rebuild on the engine is fairly recent, only 2000 miles since it was installed. On the outside, this car is done very well in a gray and black combination, to really show off a keen sense of style. Combined with a matching pair of spare wheels done in original style spoke rims, this car is ready for the road and any situation that comes up. Pop up the top when the weather starts looking dark and gloomy, and keep the top down on those beautiful days so everyone can see who is driving this classic home! The rear was fitted with a rumble seat as well, so this makes an excellent parade or general show off car. The trunk is mounted on the rear as a leather-bound trunk box to haul your things with you. The front seats are done in cloth material to match the exterior, but open up the rumble seat, and you are greeted with black vinyl for a tremendous level of comfort.
