1957 Packard Clipper

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to digitally present this rare 1957 Packard Clipper Wagon. Rare, unique, or special...it's hard to find just one word to describe this '57 Packard. For starters, only 869 Clipper Wagons were manufactured. How many are left today is anyone's guess, but it has to be a small number. This Wagon comes with the factory supercharged 289 Studebaker engine producing 275hp. In todays world of twin turbos and high factory horsepower ratings, the Clipper's numbers may be unimpressive but this car was ahead of the curve. Your Clipper Wagon would produce more horsepower than your neighbors '57 Corvette leaving his wife longing for a drive. This specific Clipper has been treated to some beautiful paint and body work. Along with the redone interior, the color combinations of the car are simply striking. The 289ci has a fuel pump assist and fires right up. Now she does need a little TLC here and there but most of the car has already been refurbished. She's so good already, she just needs a home and to be driven and enjoyed. What a rare beauty.
