1969 Plymouth GTX

Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is a beastly 1969 Plymouth Belvedere GTX. The Plymouth GTX was introduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967 by the Plymouth division to be a "gentleman's" muscle car. The GTX was to be an exceptional blend of style and performance. What differentiated it from a normal Belvedere was its special grille and rear fascia, shared with the Satellite, as well as mock hood scoops and optional racing stripes. This 69 GTX is sporting a beastly Super Commando 440 CID V8 that is linked to a 727 TorqueFlight automatic transmission. Beautiful exterior color copper metallic really pops in the sun and is very nicely complimented by the black interior and black body accents. This 69 Plymouth GTX truly lives up to its name as the "Gentleman's" muscle car with the long list of upgrades of four wheel power disc brakes, electronic computer controlled fuel injection, Edelbrock aluminum intake, headers with electronically operated exhaust cut-outs, vacuum boost system and a 4 core aluminum radiator with electric fan to keep everything nice and cool. All original parts are also available for any purists that might take interest (i.e. original intake, exhaust manifolds and brakes). To be a true gentleman's car and have all this power under the hood you can't be in the cab sweating so this beast is also equipped with air conditioning and factory tinted glass to keep the cab nice and cool also. Options include: A/C, AM/FM radio with CD player, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior and aluminum/alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires.
