The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC's full size pickup truck line from 1960 until 1999 in the United States; the aging C/K light-duty pickup truck was replaced with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra names in 1999 in the US and Canada. This 1993 Chevrolet Silverado 454 SS is a true black beauty and in the early to mid 90's this was the truck to own muscle car and sports car enthusiasts. The power plant for this black beauty is a very strong 454 CID 7.4 liter V8 that is linked to a smooth shifting four-speed electronic automatic transmission (known as the 4L80E) and 3.73 rear axle ratio added to the truck's performance both sporting original miles of 38,152. For all my math nuts that is less than 1,750 actual miles on this classic American muscle truck. This 1993 Chevrolet Silverado 454 SS has been very well maintained and garage kept for the majority of its life and it really shows when you start taking a closer look at the nuts and bolts. In 1990, Chevrolet introduced the first high-performance racing focused truck of the big three automakers a high-performance variant of the GMT400 under the Super Sport emblem called the 454 SS. Unique exterior features included a front air dam with fog lights, special rims, decals displaying "454SS" on the bed sides, red trim emblems, and black painted grille, bumpers, and mirrors. The interior was also unique with a special plush Garnet Red cloth with black trim, high-back reclining sport bucket seats, and center console.
