All new sheet metal would grace the 1939 Ford Deluxe series for sale, while new mechanical innovations were seen, such as improved engine cooling and the use of hydraulic brakes on all four wheels, despite Henry Ford's protest that mechanical units were better. The most popular body style in this year's Deluxe series was the Tudor sedan for sale with 144,333 produced. The builder thought he had a better idea then Henry Ford and installed the 350 CID V8 engine with a oversized camshaft putting out 335hp. Attached to this killer power plant is the world renowned Turbo 350 3 speed automatic transmission. The front drums were replaced with disk and the whole brake system is now power. The paint is unique on this Ford for sale. Its painted a gorgeous Corvette Sport Red (PPG-5947) and Platinum Ice (PPG-918605) along with a "Passing Thru Time" mural of the car on the trunk lid. The interior was completed by Chris's Trim Shop in Texas and looks great.
