This is an original “JA” code 396 - 325 horsepower but has been built up and dyno tested at right at 400 horsepower. Those upgrades include Edelbrock intake, Holley 750 Street Avenger carburetor, Crane Cam, 11:1 pistons, aluminum Edelbrock heads, Hooker headers, Be Cool dual electric fans and aluminum radiator, 150 amp alternator, March performance pullies, March brackets and serpentine belt system, MSD igniton, billet overflows, and more! This power is put through a new M-20 four speed manual transmission and runs to 3.73 gears out back. All that go needs some slow, so all new brakes have been installed with power disc in the front and an upgraded 9” chrome brake booster and chrome master cylinder with stainless steel brake lines. Inside you are drawn in by bucket seats with a center console, Vintage Air A/C system, custom steering wheel, newly recovered vinyl seats, new front shoulder seat belts, Sun tachometer, all new dash and door panels, and a brand new wiring harness from front to rear to make sure everything is functioning properly. The exterior also received a face lift with a new vinyl roof, new Cragar SS wheels, new bumpers, new grill, new halogen headlights, and Lemans blue paint. With 34,466 miles this car was a great candidate to be restored and was done so very nicely.
