Chevrolet's Camaro for sale and its sister "F-car," the Pontiac Firebird was hardly an original notion — it was GM firing back because of Ford's high success rate with the Mustang. Thanks to "Astro Ventilation," the creators of the Camaro for sale eliminated the side vent wing windows on the 1968 Camaro for sale and also added federally mandated side marker lights and a revised base grille. Mechanically, the most significant change was the adoption of staggered rear shocks which is one in front of the rear axle, one behind the rear axle to counteract wheel hop under hard acceleration. The high-performance Super Sport (SS) package had its own distinct decoration including a cowl hood with simulated vents, "bumble bee" stripes encircling from nose to tail and the iconic SS badges, a heavy-duty suspension and larger D70-series tires on 15-inch wheels. Beyond that, the SS-350 tribute model for sale also comes with a new 350-cubic-inch small-block V8 rated at 300+ horsepower. This particular 350 C.I.D V8 is equipped with aluminum heads, Edelbrock Victor jr intake, nice big cam, and long tube headers pounding the pavement.
