Overland car company was purchase by John Willys in 1908 and was at the time was the second largest producer of vehicles at that time. The Whippet was produced for only 5 years due to the economic crises of the late 1920’s.
What makes this whippet so unique is this street rod is an all steel car including the fenders. Under the hood of this street Rod is a bold Supercharger 350 CID V8 power plant. It has then been linked up to a smooth shifting Mustang automatic transmission and rear end. The interior in this one has been done up and a plush Tan cloth seat and has been trimmed with wood though out to give the car it classic car hot rod look.
