The dark Blue paint was just repainted 3 years ago and is in terrific condition. (the body is all original). The same can be said about the Black vinyl interior which is all-new, including the carpet kit. Inside you will find COLD A/C as well as the all new RETROSOUND digital stereo system. As soon as you get in grip the wheel and turn the key on this monster – you are taken right back into the good old days!
When this bad boy fires up, you immediately noticed the freshly rebuilt 396 cubic-inch motor with rumbling with the sound of its long-tube headers. Bolted to the block is an Edelbrock Performance RPM Intake Manifold, Edelbrock Carberator & Air Cleaner, Accel Ignition system with MSD Plug wires, and classic set of chrome valve covers. The entire engine bay is super clean and well organized. The motor is paired to a Turbo 400 w/ shiftkit and a 12-bolt posi rear-end with 3.73 gears.
Keeping this monster sticking to the road is a set of custom aftermarket rally wheels with NITTO Performance Street Drag Radials in the rear, and BFGoodrich radials up front – and - disc brakes up front/ drums in the rear – helping this car stop on a dime.
This classic El Camino will be a fantastic addition to a car collection of any size and will surely be a hit at the next car show!
