Leather InteriorUp for sale in our Tampa showroom is this Incredible 1980 MGB Special edition. This series MG was produced from 1962 thru 1980. The MG is a front engine rear wheel drive four cylinder backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Weighing only approximately 2400 pounds the MG’s 1.8-liter four cylinder offers spritely performance and excellent fuel economy. This series MG also featured front disc brakes and rear drums.
The Special Edition was only available from 1979 to 1980. A total of 6668 were produced during those two years. All Special Edition models were black and included special wheels, front air dam, luggage rack, and other exterior and interior trim pieces unique to the Special Edition MGB.
This fine example shows itself very well in its mirror like glossy black paint and like new appearing black leather/vinyl interior. This car also features numerous newer parts such as: convertible top, tires, Weber carburetors, exhaust, brakes, shocks, tie rods, coil springs, hood and trunk struts, LED rear lights and a new AM/FM CD player with 2 high fidelity speakers. The cooling system was also recently overhauled.
This MG is ready to confidently transport you on any adventure whether that’s a trip down Route 66 or just cruising main street in your home town.
