Description

Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is excited to offer this 1938 Pontiac Deluxe Touring Sedan Restomod for sale. This masterfully crafted blend of vintage charm and modern performance deems itself a showstopper in its PPG dual stage Tangerine Orange Metallic exterior. This striking hue not only accentuates the car's classic lines but also ensures that it stands out in any collection or at any event. Coupled with a sophisticated tan interior, this restomod exudes a timeless elegance while offering contemporary comforts and technologies for a truly unique driving experience. This vintage whip is all steel except for the running boards, and features new window felts and rubber weatherstripping, along with fresh tinted glass from Glass Man Mfg.

At the heart of this captivating vehicle lies a new Holley Fuel Injected 4.8L Vortec V8 engine, which is paired seamlessly with a remanufactured 4L60 4-speed automatic transmission that's controlled by a custom Lokar shifter. This combination promises both power and reliability, making every drive as exhilarating as it is smooth. This bad boy has undergone a massive updating from when its owner acquired it. The front suspension and steering have been swapped out for a Scott's Hotrods Coilover IFS kit, rear drum brakes were tossed and disc brakes installed in their place, a custom driveshaft was built for the new powertrain, the Vortec received a March LS Pro Track Serpentine kit, a custom Wizard Cooling radiator was built specifically for this car, and a Cooling Components, LLC electric fan was installed. The fuel injection is a Holley Terminator system, and all of the new electrical goodies are supported by a new Painless wiring harness. The addition of American Racing Torq Thrust aluminum wheels and radial tires further enhances both the aesthetic appeal and performance capabilities of this remarkable sedan.

Inside, the cabin is thoughtfully designed with luxury and convenience at the forefront. The synthetic leather interior complements the overall color scheme while offering durability and comfort. Modern appointments include heated 8-way power adjustable front bucket seats with lumbar support, ensuring a tailored fit for drivers and passengers alike. The driver gets a nice view of the custom light ivory-colored VDO gauges thanks to the IDIDIT tilt steering column, which is topped by a custom wood-rimmed steering wheel. Power steering and the new 4-wheel power disc brakes contribute to effortless handling and potent stopping power.

This restomod also comes equipped with Vintage Air air conditioning, allowing for a comfortable environment regardless of weather conditions. Entertainment options are not forgotten, with an AM/FM/CD radio offering a variety of listening choices during your travels. Additional features such as power locks and power front windows add an extra layer of convenience, ensuring that the operation of the vehicle remains as hassle-free as possible. Safety is also kept in mind with the inclusion of seatbelts, making this blend of classic and contemporary a truly well-rounded driving machine.

Whether you are drawn to its nostalgic allure or its modern-day performance, this 1938 Pontiac Deluxe Touring Sedan Restomod stands ready to offer an exceptional journey both on the road and in the history of automotive design. Call or email our Houston Showroom today to make it yours!
