Description

Gateway Classic Cars Of Louisville is proud to digitally present this Stunning 1955 Buick Roadmaster.

Step back in time with this classic 1955 Buick Roadmaster, a true testament to American automotive history. This vehicle boasts a stunning white exterior that complements its cream/white cloth interior, creating a timeless aesthetic that is sure to turn heads wherever you go. A rebuilt 322 cubic inch engine rumbles under the hood, with an estimated 1,500 miles on it since the rebuild. It is matched to an also rebuilt Dynaflow transmission, shifting smoothing as you roll down the road.

The 1955 Buick Roadmaster is a legend among car enthusiasts and collectors. Jay Leno is the proud owner of a 55 roadmaster he calls "RoseBud," which is a tribute to Orson Wells 1941 Citizen Kane, as it was all about Rosebud. In 1955 broad lower rear fender bands, gold-colored Roadmaster deck script and hood ornament, bars on the hubcaps and gold-accented grille were added to distinguish Roadmaster. Horsepower jumped to 236, and a new variable-pitch Dynaflow transmission in which the stator blades changed pitch under hard acceleration, provided quicker off-the-line getaway. Back up lights were now standard. Overall sales were 64,527. The shine and gleam from this car as you approach it is blinding! From the Whitewall tires to the top of the roof, everything about the rebuild of this car was done with love and it shows! As well as the engine and transmission being rebuilt, some of the other items that should be mentioned are, new brakes and brake lines and brake cylinders all around, new exhaust and muffler, the interior has been completely redone, the town and country AM radio has been restored and the power antenna works. New paint on the exterior, and bumpers have been re-chromed. This restoration was a labor of love for a previous owner of 13 years as the entire car was stripped to bare metal and repainted to the original paint specs.

Inside, the car is equipped with an AM radio, providing a nostalgic touch that will transport you back to the golden age of motoring. The cloth interior is both comfortable and stylish, offering a pleasant environment for both driver and passengers.

The 1955 Buick Roadmaster also features hub caps, a classic design element that adds to its overall charm. The power steering makes maneuvering this classic car a breeze, while the radial tires ensure a smooth and stable ride.

For your safety, the car is equipped with seatbelts. The vinyl interior is easy to clean and maintain, making it a practical choice for those who want to enjoy their classic car without worrying about upkeep.

Finally, the white walls add a touch of elegance to this already stunning vehicle, enhancing its overall appeal.

In summary, this 1955 Buick Roadmaster is a beautiful blend of classic design and modern convenience. It offers a unique driving experience that is sure to delight any classic car enthusiast. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of American automotive history.
