Description

Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is excited to present this 1965 Ford Mustang. Finished in an elegant burgundy exterior with a palomino interior, this Mustang showcases the clean lines and timeless styling that helped define a generation of American automobiles. Power comes from a 170 cubic inch inline six-cylinder engine paired with an automatic transmission, offering a smooth and consistent driving experience that captures the charm of early Mustangs. Inside, the palomino interior provides a warm and classic atmosphere. The cabin features simple, driver-focused controls and an AM/FM radio for added enjoyment on the road. Every detail reflects the era's purposeful design philosophy, blending comfort and simplicity in a way that remains appealing today. This Mustang comes equipped with power steering and power brakes, delivering added ease and control behind the wheel. The braking system has been upgraded with Wilwood disc brakes on both the front and rear, providing enhanced stopping performance. It rides on Scott Drake Legendary wheels wrapped in Nexen white wall tires, giving the car a refined and period-correct look with a touch of modern reliability. The 1965 Ford Mustang remains one of the most recognizable classics in automotive history, and this example captures the spirit of the original pony car. With its stylish burgundy finish, palomino interior, and tasteful mechanical upgrades, it stands as a timeless representation of Ford's enduring legacy.
