Description

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa presents this stately 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood. Last of the Body on Frame V8, RWD, "D-Bodies" this big Fleetwood was GM's last traditional American luxury car. Cloaked in a distinguished green exterior, this vehicle exudes a sense of elegance and sophistication that matches it's tidy yet large dimensions. The reminders of the 'old way' abound with the chrome rocker around the entirety of the lower 3rd of the car and the prerequisite vinyl roof. There's also the traditional Cadillac eggcrate grill and white-walled tires! The interior is wrapped in tan leather from front to back with traditional thick pile carpet and wood and chrome accents abound. This big Caddy is all about comfort and whether you're up front or ion back the experience is about convivence and serenity. Up front there's powered, multi adjustable seats, automatic AC AM/FM radio, and the 'oh so 90s' digital gauges. In back there's personal Vanity mirrors that fold down from the ceiling!

In 1995 the Cadillac Fleetwood parted with tradition with a LT-1 5.7 Liter V8 engine. Shared with the Corvette and Impala SS, this V8 was good for 260 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. Mated a four speed automatic transmission, this big Caddy has no problem getting out of it's own way or gobbling hundreds of miles at 80mph in a quite and relaxed fashion.

This particular car is a one owner car! A time capsule of sorts with little more than typical 'used but cared for' issues. Such as nicks in the body molding, minor rock chips and the odd hard to source panel missing under the steering column. Additionally there's a spar body trip in the trunk as well as a Carfax that shows regular maintenance and upkeep. Overall this Cadillac Fleetwood is a cool throw backs to what Cadillac did well and what could have been if the SUV didn't take over as the gargantuan Vehicle of choice in the US. A true collectors item and ready for a new steward to take it to the next level or even a base for a great custom. These are rare and unusual rides these days. Get it before it's gone.
