Description

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to digitally present this incredible 1968 Plymouth Road Runner Tribute. Let's just jump right in. This car is amazing. You are looking at a top tier, high end build which cost the consignor close to $200k. The add would be twenty pages long if we included all the details so lets hit the highlights. This a full rotisserie, nut and bolt, build you are looking at. The body lines and gaps were painstakingly prepped and the Viper Blue paint is smooth as glass. Under the "Stinger AAR" hood is a fully built Ray Barton 528ci, dual quad, Holley FI, HEMI cranking out nearly 700hp at the flywheel. Backing the power up is a Tremec TKO 5spd tranny and a Moser 8 3/4 rear diff stuffed with 3:73 gears. And just in case you're wondering...it has the legendary pistol grip shifter as well. Should you take a peek underneath you'll see a fully triangulated rear suspension, adjustable coil overs, tubular upper and lower control arms, Wilwood brakes, rack and pinion steering....guys I'm running out of room here! The list goes on and on and on. And the Pice de rsistance....it has A/C! Are you kidding me! This is automotive excellence and did I mention that the owner DROVE IT to us. That's right. No high end car haulers brought in this beauty, she was driven to our showroom and without issue. So, let's wrap this up. This '68 creates an experience just standing by it, and you can see it sitting in the main showroom of our Tampa store.
